Respect The Three "R"s

During the last decade, several hotels and chains have worked at developing a "greener" profile. While size and setting prevent them from qualifying as ecolodges, hotels that earn a "green" label do make an effort to conserve energy and water and to reduce waste. However, they depend on your cooperation to carry out certain practices.

Many Green Hotels only serve drinking water on request in order to avoid wasting it;
They provide cards on which guests can indicate whether or not they are willing to reuse linen and towels for one more day - yet another example of how it's often up to the customer to take initiative;
